Policy for Commissioning Work Silversmithing - making items such as rings, bracelets, and setting stones and pendants using silver, gold, or other metals. Commissioning If individuals are interested in making arrangements to have a commissioned work made, please notify designer at least 1 month in advance of the requested due date. Communication may be via email, phone call, or fax. Contact for further information regarding the work will be made within two business days. All requests must include a description of the type of piece desired (including materials used, colors, length, special stones or pendants), sizes and measurements, requested due date, and brief description of the occasion needed. Designer holds all design rights to the completed work. Cancellations on commissioned works If an individual wishes to cancel an order, two weeks notice of the expected due date must be given so that proper arrangements may be made. Deposits On all silver items a deposit of half the cost of the item is due (for example a ring that is $50, the deposit is $25). For all other designer jewelry a 30% deposit is due. These are non-refundable deposits. The remaining balance is due when the work is completed. Return Policy We take great satisfaction in having people wear our jewelry creations, and take great pride in our quality items. However, it an item must be returned here is the process. Return Instructions The merchandise to be returned must be carefully packed and shipped back to the address below within 12 days of invoice date. Broken, scratched, or damaged merchandise will not be accepted for return. Return Exceptions Earrings and items from the Enchanted FeetTM collections are not returnable. Refund Policy Refunds are for store credit, credit card refund, or Paypal account reimbursement only. We will not reimburse your costs for shipping and handling. Refunds or credits will be issued upon receipt of the merchandise. Bulk Returns Orders over $100 are subject to a 15% restocking fee if they are returned. Shipping Policy All orders via the website are shipped within 24-48 hours from date of order except for commissioned works. A predetermined time will be negotiated for commissioned works based on requested due date. Items may be shipped via UPS or USPS based on location. Please allow 7-10 days for delivery. We will ship anywhere in the world. Ancestors Jewels reserves the right to amend these policies any time.
